Helping people live healthier and happier lives.
Welcome to my practice! My name is Carrie, and I am the founder and owner of Feel Well Clinical Counseling. I strive to create a space that feels approachable, supportive, and genuine. I tend to be easygoing and down-to-earth in my style—comfort and authenticity matter to me, both in and out of the therapy room.
My lived experience plays a meaningful role in how I connect with others. I was born without the lower part of my right arm and used a prosthetic hook (Captain Hook style!) from early childhood through junior high school. Growing up with physical differences, along with navigating chronic pain and personal losses, has given me a deep understanding of resilience, adaptation, and what it means to move through life’s challenges. I understand struggle on a personal level, and I believe that shared humanity allows for real connection and healing.
Clients often share that they find it easy to connect with me, and I attribute that to my genuine curiosity, empathy, and respect for each person’s unique story. I value humor, authenticity, and the individuality that each person brings. No two experiences are the same, and I believe that each person has inherent strengths and something meaningful to offer.
I am a clinically Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly 20 years of experience. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counseling, and I have worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, grief, medical issues/injuries, and chronic pain.
In private practice, I have the privilege of providing personalized, high-quality care tailored to each individual. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative environment where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to navigate challenges and build a more fulfilling life.
